What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via PayPal. Don't worry if you don't have a PayPal account - you can checkout as a guest and pay by debit or credit card via PayPal.
What if I change my mind?
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 which governs online shopping in the UK allows purchasers a 14-day cooling off period. During this period we are unable to supply digital goods for download unless you agree to waiver the cooling off period. This agreement is given by you during checkout. However, we want you to be satisfied, so if you change your mind before downloading your order or if you're at all unhappy with the pattern please email us and we'll do our best to help you.
You can notify us you wish to cancel your Paper pattern order within the 14-day cooling off period and return the pattern(s) for a refund. For more information, please see the terms and conditions.
If you cancel your retreat ticket more than 4 weeks before the retreat, you will receive a full refund (minus Paypal fees). If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the retreat you will not receive a refund. We may be able to help you to find someone to transfer your ticket to if you are unable to attend less than 4 weeks before the retreat.
How do I get my PDF pattern?
You can download your pattern by going into your account, going into the My Downloadable Products section and choosing to download the file. This should be available immediately but you'll receive an email to confirm your order has been completed successfully.
How many times can I download my PDF pattern?
You can currently download your pattern as many times as you wish.
What should I do before starting my project?
For PDF patterns, we advise you to print out the test square in the pattern to ensure that your printer is printing at the correct size before cutting out. If the PDF isn't printing at the correct size, we have some tips on how to adjust your printer here.
We also recommend that you read the pattern through before starting.
What if I run into difficulties?
Sometimes it feels like everything's going wrong. In these instances, take a break, eat some chocolate and come back with a fresh mind. If you're struggling with aspects of the pattern you can either join Mrs H's group on Facebook for help from Mrs H and other sewing enthusiasts or email us.
Can I sell my projects?
You may sell individual finished items handmade by you using this pattern. Use for mass production or contracting a third party to produce the items is prohibited. If you decide to sell items that you have made from this pattern, please include a credit back to 'Sewing Patterns by Mrs H' on your listing. If you would like us to share your make with our followers, please either tag us in your post on Facebook/Instagram (@sewingpatternsbymrsh) or send us an email with details.
Can I run workshops using your sewing patterns?
We love seeing our sewing patterns used for workshops and classes! Please remember that your students will each need a copy of the sewing pattern. They can either buy this individually through the website, or you can place a wholesale order with us (10 patterns or more). If you would like us to share the details of your upcoming class or workshop with our followers, please tag us in your Instagram/Facebook post (@sewingpatternsbymrsh), or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When will you post my order?
We aim to post physical orders within 2 working days of receiving your order using Royal Mail 1st class (or courier for orders over 1kg). Delivery times may vary. If you have not received your paper patterns after 2 weeks, please contact us at email@example.com quoting your order number. If you have pre-ordered an item, we will post your order as close to the release date as we can. We will update about any changes to release dates via our social media pages, our newsletter, and on the product page itself. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number.
Can I place a wholesale order?
Yes! You can order as usual through this site. When you add any 10 or more paper patterns to your shopping basket, it will automatically apply the wholesale discount to your order. Your postage fee is also automatically calculated based on the weight range for the patterns you have ordered. If you wish to place an order for a large number of patterns (100+) or are interested in becoming a distributor of our patterns, please send us an email first to ensure we have enough stock to cover your order. You can email us using the contact button on this site or direct to email@example.com.
Health and Safety: Our staff follow a strict hygiene protocol to protect both themselves and you. You may still wish to place your order to one side for 24+ hours after receiving it.
Communications: We may take longer than usual to reply to your messages or emails. We are grateful for your patience at this time. Please know that every customer is important to us and we will get back to you as quickly as we can.
Shipping: Customer orders - We ship first class via our local postal service. Our Post Office has advised that many countries are experiencing delays for delivery of international orders, and some orders are being held at international mail receiving centres. Please check the statues of your local postal service before placing your order. Wholesale orders - Within the UK, we ordinarily use a 3-5 day service through a national firm that employs local couriers. Due to our current shelter at home order, our local courier has been finding it challenging to keep up with demand. Due to this, we will temporarily be using an alternative courier firm on a next day service. This has resulted in an increase in shipping costs. We continually monitor the situation and will return to our usual more affordable shipping option as soon as practically possible.

Make of the Month - Monthly Photo Competition - Terms and Conditions
Share a photo of your Mrs H bag in our Facebook Support Group, or share on Instagram with the hashtag #mrshphotocomp to enter our monthly photo competition. There is no cost to enter this competition, and entrants may enter as many bag photos as they like. The competition will run from the 1st of each month to its close. The winner will be chosen by the Mrs H team as soon as possible after the 1st of the following month. The winner will be announced on Facebook and Instagram. The winner will receive a free PDF sewing pattern of their choice from the Sewing Patterns by Mrs H catalogue. There is no entry fee to enter this competition, but only photos of bags made using patterns from Sewing Patterns by Mrs H will be eligible. The Mrs H team has sole discretion when choosing winners and the team's decision is final. We reserve the right to amend or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions as necessary. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible via social media. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Unless you ask us not to, we may repost your entry photos in promotional materials, on social media, newsletters, or our website.

When you make a purchase from mrs-h.com between Friday 4th October 2019 00:01 and Sunday 6th October 2019 23:59, we will automatically enter you into the prize draw. Winners will be selected using a random number generator within 7 days of the end of the draw. We will email winners to select their paper sewing pattern and to confirm their delivery address. Prizes will be sent out within 30 days of winners responding. The Stay Home & Sew Challenge - Terms and Conditions
Share a photo of your Mrs H bag in our Facebook Support Group with a comment that it is for the Stay Home and Sew Challenge. There is no cost to enter this competition, the competition is open worldwide, and entrants may enter as many bag photos as they like. The competition will run from 24th March 2020 until 15th April 2020 at 23:59 (UK). Three (3) winners will be chosen by random prize draw on the 16th April 2020 and will be announced in the Facebook Support Group, as well as on Sewing Patterns by Mrs H's Facebook and Instagram pages. Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) copy of The Bag Making Masterclass after its release.
