Need a space to sew? Book into our sewing studio!

Pre-bookable individual sewing studio time is available Tuesdays – Thursdays from 10am – 3:30pm, except for during class times. Mondays & Fridays may be available by appointment. Booking is required, but please do call us if you'd like to check last-minute availability.

Bring your own projects to work on at your own pace. There is no teaching included with this booking, but if Mrs H is in the studio during your booking then she will offer advice if you need it.

You can either use your own sewing machine, or borrow one of the studio sewing machines. Machine use includes feet, refresher training on machine use & needles. Machine use does not include thread; please bring your own or purchase some from the supplies shop. Please contact us to confirm availability.

Prices listed are per person and include tea & coffee. Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

How much does it cost to book a space in the Sewing Studio?

£6 for one hour, £12 for two hours, £15 for three hours. If you purchase 6 hours of Sewing Studio Space, we will give you 2 hours free.

Do you provide fabrics and hardware?

No. Please bring your own sewing project, sewing kit, fabrics and hardware. We do have a curated range of bagmaking hardware and notions available for purchase. For fabric, there are many fantastic fabric stores in Cornwall, including our lovely nearby neighbours - The Sewing Studio in Redruth (approximately 15 minutes drive).

Are refreshments included?

Tea and coffee will be available throughout your sewing session. If you wish to buy your own snacks, there is a wonderful cake shop right next door - Delight to Bite
