The Captivating Clutch sewing pattern features comprehensive instructions, pattern pieces, and colour photographs, as well as a handy pieces diagram to help you choose where to use your fabric (and which way up to cut it!). The paper pattern is an A5 booklet with printed pattern pieces. The downloadable PDF pattern features printable pattern pieces and a text only section to save on ink and paper costs.

  

Although it was originally designed for beginners, The Captivating Clutch is classified as an intermediate pattern as it does require focus - follow the pattern instructions step by step and you'll have a Captivating Clutch in no time. The Captivating Clutch pattern is written in UK English and has been thoroughly tested by a team of expert pattern testers, including beginner bag makers.

The Captivating Clutch pattern was originally designed for beginner bagineers but has since been reclassified as an intermediate pattern, as it does require focus. Its clever construction means you do need to pay attention as you sew, however testers said they found the pattern straightforward when they followed the directions step by step.

I used Mixologie linen by Studio M for Moda Fabrics, paired with Kona Navy and Kona Ice Frappe. The fabrics were provided by Simply Solids.
